About Orange Electric

Reliable electrical partners for simple fixes, complex projects, and everything between.

The Orange Electric Company Inc. is owned by Daniel Korb and Scott King. Together, they built Orange Electric around a straightforward promise: communicate clearly, do what we say we are going to do, and carry each job across the finish line.

Built on trade experience, service, and follow-through.

Daniel and Scott met while working at another electrical contracting firm, where they developed a shared respect for organized project execution, responsive customer service, and clean electrical work. Today, Daniel leads estimating, design, and client relationships, while Scott manages operations and client relationships in the field.

Orange Electric serves homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients who want a contractor they can trust with both the details and the outcome. Whether the job is a service call, lighting upgrade, commercial buildout, generator, smart home system, or larger electrical project, the goal is the same: make the process clear, professional, and finished right.

The story behind the Orange Electric name.

Orange Electric was founded in 2014 over dinner, beers, and a conversation about building an electrical company that would provide an exceptional experience for its clients. The vision was clear. The name, at first, was not.

As Daniel and Scott talked through what the company should represent, they kept coming back to simplicity. The most recognizable brands often have a clean name, a simple mark, and a message people can remember. Then the orange slices in their Blue Moon glasses made the decision for them. Orange Electric felt simple, memorable, and right — and the rest is history.

Owner

Daniel Korb

Daniel has been in the electrical trade since attending Butler Tech in high school, beginning in 2005 and graduating in 2008. His career started in a residential service van, where he developed an early appreciation for home service, customer trust, and the importance of solving problems cleanly in occupied spaces.

He then moved into commercial and industrial electrical work during his apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience across restaurants, medical office buildings, hospitals, warehouses, factories, auto dealerships, storefronts, and other demanding environments. That foundation shaped his ability to understand both the technical side of a project and the realities of working around active businesses and discerning clients.

In 2015, Daniel became the full-time electrician for the Cincinnati Reds, starting during the All-Star Game and serving in that role until January 2026. His work at the ballpark included light towers, aircraft warning lights, concession stands, signage, event support, and electrical coordination for touring bands and special events. That experience sharpened his ability to deliver under pressure, communicate clearly, and support customers who expect things to be done right.

Owner

Scott King

Scott has worked in the electrical field since 2008 and brings a steady operational focus to Orange Electric. He manages day-to-day operations, coordinates work in the field, and helps make sure projects move from planning to completion without leaving customers guessing about what comes next.

His role is centered on execution: keeping work organized, supporting clients, solving jobsite challenges, and making sure Orange Electric delivers the kind of dependable experience customers remember. Scott’s leadership helps the company maintain its practical, get-it-done culture while still paying attention to the details that separate average work from excellent work.

What customers can expect from Orange Electric.

Orange Electric is built to be the reliable partner customers call when they need confidence that the work will be handled. Some projects are simple. Others are complex, highly coordinated, or technically demanding. In either case, customers should feel that once they delegate the job to Orange Electric, it will be managed, communicated, and completed.

Our values are simple: tell the customer what we will provide, when we will provide it, how we will provide it — and then execute. We do not want customers wondering about the next step. We want them to feel informed, respected, and confident from the first conversation through final completion.

Professional, modern electrical work.

Orange Electric brings a broad range of experience to high-quality residential, commercial, and property management electrical work, including service upgrades, lighting, standby power, EV charging, automation, security, and energy management.
